Enrique Verdes Enrique "El G@llego Verdes has been a Linux User since 1997, being a founding member of UYLUG (Uruguayan Linux User Group). Has been Operating Systems professor at the ORT University Uruguay since 2002 and actually works as Senior IT Specialist in the Engineering Department at CONATEL. He is also a member of the Uruguayan Section of IEEE, the IEEE Computer Society Uruguayan Chapter; and Hispalinux. Has contributed as spanish translator for LPI. Holds a Unix Programming degree from ORT University Uruguay and a LPI Certification. Andres TaralloHolds an Analist/Programmer Degree issued by Universidad ORT. Involved in the creation of the Local LUG (UYLUG http://www.uylug.org.uy) Working with Linux since 1996. Working as a consultant deploying solutions based in free software, contributing bug fixes and enhancements to many projects, among others: SpamAssasin, Cyrus IMAP, Date::Manip (PERL Module) and Koha (http://www.koha.org). Have given many speeches about free software and technical related matters in local and international workshops, including FISL 5.0 and 7.0, V Jornadas Regionales (Rosario, Argentina), in topics related to system managment, Spam Fighting and Library Automation. |
