This presentation introduces OMM – the QualiPSo Open Maturity Model for Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) development and integration. Currently being developed, OMM can help: in building trust in the development processes of companies and communities using or producing OSS; and in improving the quality of such processes.

Viviane Malheiros is a member of the Corporate Software Process Improvement team at SERPRO, which is Brazil\'s largest government IT company. She is also a PhD student at USP (Universidade São Paulo) and a PMI certified Project Manager Professional (PMP®). She leads improvements initiatives on project management and measurement software processes. She also assesses development teams capabilities, providing mentoring on development process and CMMI practices, whenever required. Viviane was project leader at SERPRO for more than 5 years and received some company wide awards for her articles. Her masters degree was focused on Risk Management on Software Development.
